I found this my new hobby. Please support me. Thank you.💓
It was a good Saturday, and that means day off ko. Kaya tara, time to go out and enjoy! So, we did some grocery shopping in the early afternoon, at aminin natin... Nakakapagod mag grocery at Nakakagutom! And after mag groceries we decided to have early dinner before umuwi at napadpad kame sa Outlook Drive. I must say, we had a pleasure of dining sa House of Chops, we've been here couple of times with family and friends. In case you don't know, House of Chops is a family-style restaurant is known for its tasty dishes and cozy ambiance. I'm excited to share with you some of their dishes na natry namin. and hopefully masubukan niyo rin! :)
This is 10/10 para sa akin. One of the standout dishes we always order pag kumakain kame dito was the Crackling Pork Belly Roast with Miso Butter. The pork belly was perfectly cooked, with a delightfully crispy skin and tender, flavorful meat. The miso butter added a savory umami element that complemented the pork beautifully. This dish was our favorite of the evening and a must-try for any pork lover.
Another highlight was the Baby Back Ribs with Honey BBQ Sauce. The sweet and tangy BBQ sauce caramelized nicely under the broiler, creating a delicious glaze on the meat. The ribs were served with a side of corn on the cob, making for a satisfying and finger-licking good meal. Sigurado, mapapadami ka ng rice dito.
With our experience, this is 8/10 kasi when it was served, medyo nagdry na yung meat to the bones, but yung BBQ sauce was delicious and yun yung nagdala. Pero yun nga, depende din sa panlasa and how you prefer the baby back ribs.... Siguro hindi lang sya yung inexpect namin.. Nothing bad at all.
We also sampled the Buffalo Wings with Ranch and Honey BBQ Chicken Wings. Both were packed with flavor. The Buffalo Wings had a nice kick, balanced by the cool, creamy ranch dressing. The Honey BBQ Chicken Wings were sweet, tangy, and utterly addictive. These wings would be perfect for sharing with friends while enjoying a cold drink. Buffalo wings is 9/10, and yung Honey BBQ wings naman is 8/10.
As an appetizer, this is 8/10 para sa akin, we tried the Mozzarella Triangles. These breaded and fried mozzarella triangles were gooey and delicious on the inside, with a satisfying crunch on the outside.
They were served with a marinara dipping sauce that added a bright, acidic note to balance the richness of the cheese.
Overall, our dining experience at House of Chops was a success. The food was consistently well-executed, with bold flavors and high-quality ingredients. Yung server nila was professional, attentive and friendly, adding to the cozy, family-friendly atmosphere of the restaurant. Their menu features a variety of dishes, with most items being good for 2-4 persons depending on appetite. May children's menu din sila. And pwede din makaorder online thru FoodPanda sa kanila.
If you find yourself in Baguio City, be sure to visit House of Chops and try their signature dishes like their slow-roasted beef belly, but I recommend especially the Crackling Pork Belly Roast with Miso Butter comes with rice platter and a side of your choice... I must say It's a sulit meal you won't soon forget!
